Lost in Cat Brain Land is a book of short stories, each stranger and more disorienting than the last. Mysterious creatures coming unbidden into the house for tea, pterodactyl bus drivers, insect-like children crawling out of the drains, a skin-stealing hunk of meat in daycare, a tentacled brain landscape inside a dead cat, a deity who rides a stuffed boar chair, and a regretful green monster. Masterfully written and some of the most imaginative fiction available anywhere.
